This month you will have new options to learn 3D printing. We will be running our usual “Zero to Plastic” intro to 3D printing class on Saturday, August 23rd, at the shop. Registration is here:

In addition, Deezmaker is teaching a new class through Pasadena City College Extension, Intermediate Open-Source 3D Printing. It is ONLINE, 7-9 PM on Thursday nights for four weeks starting August 21. The class picks up where “zero to plastic” leaves off, emphasizing more advanced slicing techniques, post-processing, managing errors, and more. Joan will be teaching the class. You do not need to have taken a formal class in 3D printing to take it or own a printer; it will assume you know the basics of running a 3D printer. Registration is here:

Hope to see you at one of these! You can also save the date for the PCC Extension Online class, Advanced Open-Source 3D printing. That will be 4 weeks online on Thursdays starting October 2nd. It is available at the same link as the Intermediate class.
